VicPD Connect: The Mobile App for Reporting Crimes and Staying Connected with VicPD Social Media
VicPD Connect is a free Android mobile application developed by the Victoria Police Department that connects all VicPD channels into one single, mobile-friendly platform. This app provides users with the ability to report crimes, view crime maps, and stay up to date with the latest VicPD news and social media notifications.
With this app, users can report crimes where the suspect is unknown and the total loss is less than $5000 from the convenience of their Android devices. The app also allows users to reconnect with their lost or stolen property through a photo catalogue, see reports of crime in their geographic location, and view and search for the latest images and videos of VicPD in action.
Additionally, users can stay connected with all VicPD’s social media notifications in their hand, whether they be Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest, or Soundcloud. The app also includes features such as VicPD Stories, Submit a Tip, Traffic Complaints, and Email Feedback.
